Le port de Prince Rupert traitera 23,5 millions de tonnes de marchandises en 2023, soit une baisse annuelle de 5 %.

L'Administration portuaire de Prince Rupert (APPR) a annoncé aujourd'hui que 23,5 millions de tonnes de marchandises ont été transporté par le port de Prince Rupert en 2023, soit cinq pour cent de moins que les volumes de 2022.

#TBT The @rupertport is pleased to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the Seal Cove Salt Marsh Restoration, which opened officially just in time for Earth Day in April 2022.

The $4 million partnership with the city of Prince Rupert revitalized marine life and also restored the aquatic ecosystem in the area. The open space has quickly become popular with the entire community!

This Sunday, April 21, from noon to 3 p.m., the community is invited to join the PRPA and many other community partners at Seal Cove, to enjoy the various activities that will take place to commemorate Earth Day.

#TBT The @princerupertseamen rugby youth program has really grown over the past few years, and in 2019, in partnership with School District No 52, the @rupertport made a contribution to the club via the Community Investment Fund.

The Seamen were then able to provide a new training program for the youth, which included new training and field equipment, a new storage container, and `Rugby Rookie` resource kits.

For years, the city lacked the proper facilities to allow for the sport, but that all changed in 2019 with the restoration and reopening of the Doug Kerr Field, in partnership with the @rupertport Community Investment Fund.
